Signing MoU’s on the sidelines of UASA’s 11th annual meeting

The Qatar Financial Markets Authority and the Capital Market Authority of Tunisia signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that aims for information exchange and joint cooperation, particularly on oversight of the quality services and the exchange of expertise and knowledge in the regulatory areas of mutual interest. The Capital Market Authority of Oman and the Capital Markets Authority of Lebanon also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that aims at exchanging information and joint cooperation, especially in the areas of enforcement laws related to the issuance of securities and investment instruments and financial markets oversight, in addition to develop financial standards of fairness and integrity in professional conduct for licensed persons in securities sector. It is worth mentioning that the signing of both MoU’s was made on the sidelines of UASA’s 11th annual board meeting which was held in Tunis on 16/03/2017.
