Central Banks Board of Governors and Arab Monetary Institutions 44th session

The Central Banks Board of Governors and Arab Monetary Institutions held its 44th virtual session in the presence of governors of central banks and Arab monetary institutions, where the Union of Arab Securities Authorities (UASA), represented by the Secretary General, participated in this session as an observer. The session discussed the financial and monetary economic implications caused by the Coronavirus pandemic and policies and tools proposed for the post-crisis period. The session also discussed the applications of modern financial technologies and the future of banking services and products in light of the impacts of the Coronavirus, as well as developments in the efforts shown to combat money laundry and financing terrorism and the importance of enhancing financial inclusion.
