Mark Steward Chief Executive of the DFSA

Mark Steward has been appointed Chief Executive of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). Mr. Steward has served as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Australian Law Reform Commission since 2022. Mr. Steward replaced Mr. Ian Johnston, the previous Chief Executive of the DFSA. Mr. Steward also served as Executive Director Enforcement and Market Oversight at the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which oversees capital markets in the United Kingdom.
