Dr. Azzam has extensive experience in non-banking financial sector, regulation, and supervision. He previously served as Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange during the second half of 2025, and earlier as Vice Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority from January 2021 to August 2025, where he oversaw the capital market, insurance, and non-banking financial activities.
